The downtown cottages near Lucerne Avenue draw roof and porch calls, where iguanas climb the old wood trellises and fruit trees to get up high.
The population never really goes away here because the municipal golf course and the lagoon parks nearby keep feeding it. Across 33460, 33461, and 33462, it's mostly older single-family homes, cottages, and small multi-family lots — properties where a season of monitoring pays off more than a single visit.

All the time. The wood trellises, fruit trees, and porch overhangs near Lucerne give iguanas easy climbing routes. We clear them and cut off the access points.
