Plans & starting prices

Four ways we price the work.

The right plan depends on your property, not on a rate card. These are honest starting points — the free walk turns the one that fits into a firm, written number.

Single-Visit Removal

from$189/one-time

A one-time clear-out for a yard, seawall, or single problem area. Great when you've spotted a few and want them gone.

  • Full property walk & burrow map
  • Hand-catch & catch-pole removal
  • Burrow collapse where needed
  • Prevention recommendations in writing
Most popular

Monthly Iguana Control

from$99/per month

Ongoing, monitored pressure control for properties that back up to water or canopy. The population stays down instead of bouncing back.

  • Scheduled removal & trap monitoring
  • Traps set on active runs & basking spots
  • Seasonal plan adjustments
  • Priority same-day emergency calls

Intensive Nest & Colony

from$499/project

Multi-day work for heavy infestations — nesting sites, egg removal, and burrow-riddled seawalls that need a real clear-out.

  • Multi-day removal crew
  • Nest & egg removal
  • Seawall & bank burrow collapse
  • Tree wraps & piling guards available

Community-scale programs priced to the property — retention lakes, greens, shared seawalls, and clubhouse grounds, with documentation for the board.

  • Site assessment & bank mapping
  • Scheduled monitored program
  • Service records & reporting
  • Single point of contact

Starting prices are shown for planning. Your firm price comes from the free on-site walk and is put in writing before any work begins — there are no numbers hidden behind the quote.

What changes the price

No two properties price the same.

We don't hide behind "it depends" — here's exactly what we're reading when we walk your property and land on a number. Nothing here is a surprise once you see the yard.

Property size & waterfront length

A single burrow behind a townhouse is a quick, flat call. A hundred feet of Intracoastal seawall, or a community lake with a quarter-mile of bank, is more ground to work and more places for iguanas to hide — so it scopes higher.

How heavy the population is

Two iguanas on the dock is not two dozen in the bank. The more established the colony — nests, layered burrows, animals in the water during the visit — the more passes it takes to actually bring the numbers down.

One-time vs. ongoing

A one-time clear-out is a single price. A monitored program is priced monthly because new iguanas keep drifting in off neighboring banks — so on heavy waterfront the program is usually the cheaper math over a season.

Access & the work involved

Reachable seawall is fast. Steep rip-rap, tight pool cages, roofs, or burrows packed under a driveway or A/C pad take more time and gear — as does adding tree wraps, piling guards, and burrow collapse on top of removal.

Always included

What every quote comes with — no line-item games.

Whatever the size of the job, the same things are baked into the price. This is the floor you can count on from the first phone call to the follow-up.

  • A free property walk — we find the burrows, runs, and basking spots before quoting a dime
  • A firm, written price up front — the number is set before we lift a net
  • No lock-in contracts — programs run month to month for exactly as long as they earn their keep
  • Licensed & insured technicians on every visit, with paperwork a board or manager can file
  • Humane, FWC-compliant methods — no poisons, no traps left to sit, nothing that risks pets or kids
Why it's worth it

The expensive option is doing nothing.

Iguana damage doesn't announce itself. It compounds underground — a den at the waterline hollows the soil behind a seawall until the cap cracks and the fill washes into the canal, and a nesting burrow under a driveway or A/C pad quietly settles the slab above it. By the time you can see it, you're looking at a repair bill measured in thousands, not the price of a visit.

What you're actually paying us for isn't a person with a net. It's knowing which burrow to collapse, which dock piling they climb, and which follow-up actually drops the population instead of resetting it. On a heavy waterfront removal that judgment is the whole difference between one invoice and a monthly one — and it's why customers who tried the cheap route first end up calling us to finish the job right.

A monitored trapping program paired with prevention costs a small fraction of a rebuilt seawall or a re-sodded lawn, and it keeps the number from climbing back. For HOA common areas and shared lakes, that predictability — a fixed monthly line item instead of a surprise capital project — is usually the entire reason a board brings us on.

Working with Nick could not have been easier. He called me back right away, gave me a fair price, and removed a dead iguana within 30 minutes. A+ service.

If you live in Florida you know about the iguana problem. SoFlo Iguana Pros did a great job humanely removing iguanas from our property. They came once a week for four weeks and removed iguanas and their nests. Very satisfied!

No lock-in Price in writing
Is the property walk and quote really free?

Yes. Nick or a tech walks the seawall, yard, and roofline, finds the burrows and runs, and hands you a firm price in writing — no charge and no pressure. You only pay if you decide to hire us, and the number you're quoted is the number you pay.

Do you require a contract?

No. Single visits are a one-time charge, and monitored monthly programs run month to month with no lock-in — you can cancel any time. Programs continue because they're working and the numbers stay down, not because a contract traps you.

Why does iguana removal start at $189?

That covers a real visit, not a drive-by — a full property walk to map the burrows and runs, hand and catch-pole removal of the iguanas we can reach, burrow collapse where it's needed, and prevention recommendations in writing. A single lizard in a pool cage lands near that floor; a bigger, burrow-riddled property scopes up from there.

How are the monthly programs priced?

Monitored programs start at $99/mo and are scaled to the property — mostly the length of waterfront and bank we're covering, how heavy the starting population is, and how often the trap line needs checking to stay ahead of it. A compact canal lot sits near the bottom of the range; a large waterfront estate is scoped up from there.

Do you price HOAs and golf courses differently?

Yes — community-scale work is quoted custom to the property. Retention lakes, shared seawalls, greens, and clubhouse grounds are measured and mapped first, then scoped to the acreage and the visit schedule, with service records and reporting for the board or club built into the price. It isn't a per-lizard rate.

Do you charge extra for emergencies?

We run same-day and 7-day calls across the county — an iguana in the pool cage, on the roof, or a dead one you need gone today. Any after-hours or urgent-dispatch difference is told to you on the phone before we roll, never sprung on the invoice. Call (561) 735-1975 and we'll give you a straight number.
