Do iguana removal companies require contracts?

Do iguana removal companies require contracts?

Some do — but we don't lock you in. Our ongoing programs run month to month and you can cancel anytime.

Some wildlife companies do put you on a long-term contract, and a few make it hard to leave. We take the opposite approach. Our monitored programs run month to month, starting from $99, and you can cancel whenever you want. If the pressure drops enough that you don't need us every month, that's a good outcome, not a breach of contract.

A one-time removal, from $189, has nothing to sign in the first place — we come, do the work, and you're done. The only thing we put in writing is the quote and the plan, so you know exactly what you're paying for.

Why we don't rely on lock-in

Lock-in contracts exist to keep a company earning after it's stopped delivering. We'd rather earn the next month on the strength of the last one. On a waterfront lot the work is genuinely ongoing — iguanas swim back — so if we're doing our job, you'll want us there without a contract forcing it. And if you don't, you shouldn't be paying.

This matters more than it sounds. A big share of our work comes from people who left a company that trapped them in a term agreement and delivered less each month. Month-to-month keeps our incentive pointed at your property.

What a community agreement looks like

For HOAs, golf courses, and commercial sites, we do document the program in writing — scope, schedule, service records, and a single point of contact — because a board needs that on file. But documentation isn't the same as lock-in. Ask us to spell out the cancellation terms and we'll put them in plain language, not buried in fine print.

  • Monthly program: month to month, cancel anytime
  • One-time visit: nothing to sign at all
  • Community program: documented scope, clear cancellation terms

Common questions

Is there a minimum term on the monthly program?

No lock-in. It runs month to month and you can cancel anytime — we'd rather earn the next month than trap you in a contract.

Do HOAs get locked into long agreements?

Community programs are scoped to the property and documented for the board, but we don't rely on lock-in terms to keep the work. Ask us to spell out the cancellation terms in writing.

Can I pause the program in the cooler months?

Yes. Pressure eases when it turns cold, so plenty of properties step the program down or pause it and pick back up in spring. Month-to-month makes that easy.
